Dry technology

Dry technology (Dry mining operation)

The dry climate of
The Americas creates good preconditions for the use of dry technology. Dry technologies are applied in the pre-separation of the ore in order to allocate more than 20% of tailings in the head of process.
Dry technologies are high performance, efficiency, low consumption of electricity, water, reagents and is very environmentally friendly.

Dry beneficiation methods:
  1. Magnetic separation of ore
  2. Electrical separation of ore
  3. Ore separation by color
  4. Ore separation by shine
  5. Ore separation by hardness
  6. Ore separation by form
  7. Ore separation by friction
  8. Ore separation by elasticity
  9. Ore separation by size (with selective crushing and grinding)
  10. Ore separation by density (in air)
  11. Separation of ores by ability to adhere to body surfaces (or other surfaces)
  12. Separation of ores by ability of the mineral to obtain triboelectric charge through friction
  13. Separation of ores by ability of mineral to crumble when heated (decriptation)
  14. Separation of ores by ability of mineral to crumble when frozen
  15. Separation of ore by reflectivity of mineral when using various types of physical radiations (optical methods, photometric separation, radiometric sorting, fluorescent separation)
