Dry technology (Dry mining operation)
The dry climate of The Americas creates good preconditions for the use of dry technology. Dry technologies are applied in the pre-separation of the ore in order to allocate more than 20% of tailings in the head of process.
Dry technologies are high performance, efficiency, low consumption of electricity, water, reagents and is very environmentally friendly.

Dry beneficiation methods:
- Magnetic separation of ore
- Electrical separation of ore
- Ore separation by color
- Ore separation by shine
- Ore separation by hardness
- Ore separation by form
- Ore separation by friction
- Ore separation by elasticity
- Ore separation by size (with selective crushing and grinding)
- Ore separation by density (in air)
- Separation of ores by ability to adhere to body surfaces (or other surfaces)
- Separation of ores by ability of the mineral to obtain triboelectric charge through friction
- Separation of ores by ability of mineral to crumble when heated (decriptation)
- Separation of ores by ability of mineral to crumble when frozen
- Separation of ore by reflectivity of mineral when using various types of physical radiations (optical methods, photometric separation, radiometric sorting, fluorescent separation)
