Class: Non-Ferrous Metals
Group: Light metals
The group of Light metals is divided into two subgroups: Basic and Rare.
The subgroup of Basic Light Metals includes: Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Strontium (Sr), Aluminum (Al), Barium (Ba), Titanium (Ti)
The Base Light Metals have a density less than 5 g/сm3.
The subgroup of Rare Light Metals includes: Lithium (Li), Rubidium (Rb), Beryllium (Be), Cesium (Cs).
Light Rare Metals have a density of 0,5-2 g/сm3.
The most important light metals are Titanium, Lithium, Beryllium, Aluminum.
